About the event

The team will be spending the night at the Quarrymen's Arms. There we will enjoy a 2 course supper, and as the fog begins to roll in off the mountainside, the lights will go out and we will investigate throughout the night.

Built during the 19th century, the Quarrymen's Arms purpose was to provide the quarry and rail workers with a well earned pint of ale at the end of their shift. Life was hard for these men, some of them would walk miles for the work, some sleeping on site, not seeing their families for days, because it was better than walking literally miles to get home, only to do it all again the next morning.

The pub was also the favourite of the MP, Aneurin Bevan. Aneurin would walk to the top of the mountain, where he would spend hours rehearsing his speeches in preparation to deliver them to parliament. He would then call into the Quarrymen's for a pint or two before setting off for home.

This will be the team's third investigation here. On our first visit, we had an interesting night. From Shadow figures, kit being manipulated in answer to questions, to doors opening, footsteps and items moving, we even had a piece of kit damaged! We heard a child giggle, and a lady and gentleman made themselves known.

If you would like to join the team, there are only 15 tickets.

After enjoying a hearty meal, investigate with the team throughout the night, but be warned, we know there are more than just the spirits behind the bar at the Quarrymen's Arms.
